2020 VANS HI-STANDARD | HORSESHOE RESORT

2020 Vans Hi-Standard at Horseshoe Resort / Outlaw Terrain Park was the first stop of the tour. In the midst of constant rain and rolling fog, the snow got slashed and the steel was slid. As many of Ontario’s finest made their way through the course, style was ranked the highest among peers. The setup fostered airtime and creative lines through the rail section. It was a pleasure to watch, and a joy to partake in.
We were stoked to see how everyone rode on the jumps this year with a 35ft step-down and a perfect 20ft tabletop for the beginners and intermediate riders to showcase their skills.

In the afternoon the riders went to the rail set up and riders used every inch of the setup. This year we where given two rails for the creative build. It had a skatepark feel with lots of transition to give riders different options to hit and link different lines. The Vans butter-pad to down mailbox and the Star Wars rail with a gap to landing and transitions on the side didn’t let the judges or riders down. Style is king.
