2017 EMPIRE GAMES | STONEHAM, QUEBEC
Empire Games is the most creative race event in the country and the new course for 2017 didn’t disappoint. A dual slalom like no other. The format is simple girls category, junior category, open category—one against one. You win, you keep going. You lose, you’re out. And then the winners of the junior and girls category are put into the open category. Paired with a industry mega demo Empire Games was the place to be this weekend.
Multiple avenues were built so you could choose the easiest path according to your skill level. Everyone had an awesome day with speed, style, and smiles.
5 main features were offered on this course including: Tandem Turns, the In-N-Out-Bunker, the Rewind, the Splash, the Rocket Launcher and the epic “Finish Him!” box ender.
Frank Bourgeois won the final race over Jason Dubois and Keasy Patenaude took home the 3rd place away from Alex Cantin.
An expression session broke off midway through the day to get creative. Mikeal Belley took it seriously by landing a handplant over the Rewind sign. Koodos to that!
The Super-Demo with everyone’s favorite brands and 2018 previews went off… and see you at Bromont, Montagne d’expériences on March 25th !
