“I do a couple of weird things with my setups. My binding angles change every season, right now they’re 12 and -12. I always push the binding forward towards the toe edge and I always shift the highback to run along the heel edge. Then, with my boots, I take the laces out and start lacing them from the ankle.”

“I’ve always liked the sound of having a ‘quiver’ of boards but realistically having one board that does it all is way better. The Kwon does it. Mid-high flex, camber between feet and flat after so you get the feel of a flat camber board with the pop of camber. It’s the best of both. It’s also slightly directional and tapered so it’s a grand time in the pow pow. And the graphic, done by Jesse Robinson Williams, is always sick.”

“In my eyes, it’s the only binding. Beginners to pros. Zero things wrong with it. It’s basic, light and it works.”

“One of the stiffer laces boots in their line. Definitely a boot for a stronger rider. I’ve always struggled with breaking in boots but the last couple seasons I’ve been throwing the liner in the oven for a while then putting on three pairs of socks and wearing them around the house for a bit and that seems to work.”
