BADLANDS SLOPESTYLE| BLUE MOUNTAIN, ONTARIO

Blue Mountain’s Badlands Terrain Park hosted the annual Badlands Slopestyle contest on Saturday, January 28, the first of four Badlands Park Jams. Over the past two weeks, Ontario has been battling some crazy unseasonal temperatures, so when the thermometer read ‘cold’ leading up to the event , the park staff went to work on building an A+ course. The course fared well for those who could link tech rail tricks straight into a 35’, then 50’ jump, followed by a cannon rail deck. In addition to the top spot, $1,500 in cash and tons of prizing from K2, Ride, Full Tilt, Line, Jones, Now, Yes, Rockstar Energy Drink, POW, snowboarders were competing for Canadian Ranking list points.
