iF3 AWARD WINNERS
This past weekend, in front of an excited crowd of ski and snowboard enthusiasts, the 2017 iF3 Movie Awards took place at Hangar 16 in Montreal’s Old Port during the 10th edition of the iF3 Festival.
Over the course of the show, 26 awards, plus two previously unannounced surprise awards, Standout Male Snowboarder and Standout Male Skier, were bestowed to the year’s best ski and snowboard films in four categories: Amateur, Athlete, Open (for which both ski and snowboard films were jointly nominated) and Pro.

The event, which was proudly presented by Pabst Blue Ribbon, Orage and Eska Water, featured customized skis and snowboards from Rossignol as the trophies, and saw a series of surprises and equally fun-filled and heartwarming speeches from some of skiing and snowboarding’s finest filmmakers and athletes.
Here’s a look at the winners, which were determined by the iF3 Jury (comprised of Jeff Schmuck, Vincent Gagnier, Evan Heath, Zach Aller, Guillaume Morissette and Benjamin Rochette) after viewing over 80 films…
