Who is the Burton Waverange X Pro Boot Best Suited For?

This boot is built for intermediate to advanced riders wanting a sleek, high-performance StepOn® setup across the entire mountain—whether you're spinning in the park, freeriding, or charging big-mountain lines. If you value out-of-the-box fit, heel-lock reliability, and responsive feel in a soft mid-flex setup, this boot is your new secret weapon.

Burton Waverange X Pro Boot Test Notes

"When you first look at this boot, it doesn't look like there's much going on, but everything's internal, which gives it that clean, sleek look. There are three BOAs on this boot—you have the upper lace, the lower lace, and the internal liner lace, which pulls your foot right into the back of the boot. It pretty much eliminates all heel lift, which is a huge benefit for getting maximum performance on your snowboard. I found it really easy to get into, and with the three BOAs I could adjust it to fit my foot really well. Having a nice, dialed boot with that third BOA, and just everything fitting really well as a Step On boot, allows you to get maximum performance and responsiveness on your snowboard—because you're relying on the boot to fit properly for your snowboard to turn well. It just makes everything feel seamless. Anyone looking to step up their riding and performance in a Step On boot—whether it's in the park, freeriding, or big-mountain lines—this would be a great boot for you."  —Aari
