K2 Orton Snowboard Boot Test Notes

"It was really comfortable right out of the box. I didn't have any heel lift, and it was super comfy. This boot was super responsive and easy to get used to in a couple of days. They come with an intuition liner. You can get them heat moulded at a store, or over time, they'll mould to your foot. I really liked the dual BOA system, it was easy to adjust. If I'm taking a break, I can pop them and adjust the stiffness if need be. I found this boot was responsive when I needed it and also able to flex and tweak it when I wanted. The boot excels all over the mountain. More specifically for big mountains and steep lines, but with the flexibility, you can ride it in the park too. My favourite things about the boot were the intuition liner, that's heat moldable, the double BOA system and the gator for not getting your feet wet when you're touring. This boot is best for someone looking to ride all day out on the hill. Whether in the backcountry, riding resort, or in the park. Keep in mind it is a stiffer boot. It's rated 8 out of 10 stiffness from K2, so it's more catered to the advanced rider.Aari
