Nitro Alternator Snowboard Video Review 2024

"This board loves carve, loves to find snow, loves to explore the trees, loves to dip into the park. If you're trying to go all over the mountain, take over, and destroy everything in your path. This board will be for you."

Nitro Alternator Snowboard Basics

The all-new Alternator offers an amazing all-terrain ride for any experienced rider. The new directional shape and progressive width allow for more float and surface area for turns, sprays, and stomping, while the high kick in the tail allows for effortless switch pow riding. The specific blend of Trüe Camber, Reflex Core Profile, and Diamond Band provides natural flex and board support. In addition, the Bi-Lite Laminates and Powerlite Core will provide a response and pop on and off natural or man-made features that serious riders demand. The Sintered Speed Formula II base will give you a new sense of speed, making the flattest cat tracks a breeze and leaving your friends straining to catch up.

Who is the Nitro Alternator Snowboard Best Suited For?

The Nitro Alternator is a high-performance board for advanced riders. It's responsive and precise for boarders who enjoy freeriding and exploring the backcountry. It handles various conditions and is perfect for competent riders who like to mix their riding styles.

Nitro Alternator Tester Notes

"When hopping on this board, I found the edges just wanted to pull the snow so well. Even in the slush, the edges would grab and want to take me through the turn. It could do big wide carves. It could also rail smaller carves. It just wanted to rail turns and bust through all those slushy moguls. I love how quickly it was going from turn to turn. It just wanted to snap outta one turn and go into the next. Even though it's a bit more of a directional shape, it's still awesome on jumps. Nice and stable, nice and poppy. It's a super versatile board. I think this board's going to be super solid for an intermediate to advanced-level rider. Someone who's exploring the whole mountain, loves carve, loves to find snow, loves to explore the trees, loves to dip into the park. If you're trying to go all over the mountain, take over, and destroy everything in your path. This board will be for you."—Simon
