PUBLIC General Snowboard Review Video

"The flex is super comfortable. This board would be great for anybody."—Riz

PUBLIC General Snowboard Basics

The 2025 Public General Public snowboard is a versatile all-mtn freestyle board built for riders of all shapes and skill levels and is available in an expansive size range from 143 to 160 cms. The Alert Hybrid Camber profile is regular camber between the feet with a rise on the tip and tail. This unique camber and flexibility allows for forgiveness on rails and some extra snap for getting off the ground. The Alert Camber makes it feel at home on groomers, side-hits, in the park and everywhere in between. The Poplar Core is made of 100% FCS certified poplar wood which is known for its unbeatable strength to weight ratio.
Urethane sidewalls are used in all PUBLIC boards for their superior damping properties compared to the industry standard ABS and P-tex sidewalls.
Biax fiberglass creates a consistent and smooth flexing snowboard tip to tail while allowing the board to stay nimble and predictable. Sintered bases are manufactured by crushing polyethylene pellets together under high pressure making them more porous for maximum wax absorption and more abrasion-resistant when waxed regularly.

Who is the PUBLIC General Snowboard Best For?

Whether you're into park features, street snowboarding, or just carving down the mountain, this versatile board has you covered. The Public General provides stability, predictability, and a snappy feel, making it a fun and playful for avid park and freestyle riders looking to progress their skills and have a good time on hill.

PUBLIC General Snowboard Tester Notes

"I felt super comfortable on it and it just moved really naturally. I noticed how soft the board was, but in saying that it locked onto rails really well and felt very stable underfoot. It locked into turns, diving in, and didn't wash out and didn't feel chattery. It's a mid-soft flexing board, but that doesn't mean you can't charge on it. It has really good pop on side hits and off lips. This board excels in the park and still rides well on groomers because it locks into turns so well.
My favourite things about the board are the graphics, the shape, and the flex. The flex is super comfortable. This board would be great for anybody, whether beginner or intermediate. It is really friendly to start riding on. Even if you are more of an intermediate rider, you can take it anywhere, whether it's the park or on some steeper terrain."—Riz
