Ride C-6 Binding Review 2025 | What’s Good?

Ride C-6 Binding Review Video

"That perfect happy medium do-everything binding. They're really comfy." —Jon

Ride C-6 Snowboard Binding Basics

The 2025 Ride C-6 binding is designed for all-around performance for riders who want the smooth and damp feel of a composite tray underfoot.
The C-Series Performance Chassis pairs an extruded aluminum heel cup with a nylon tray injected with 20% short glass. The short glass makes the chassis more responsive, while the nylon composite provides a smooth ride.
The two-piece ankle strap utilizes two different types of plastic, one more rigid strap to provide the necessary response and another urethane piece that assures the strap is comfortable and stays in place over your boot.
The ultra-light canted footbed uses a subtle 2.5 degree angle to align the ankles and knees to a more natural and comfortable riding position, and the C-Series EVA Basepad wraps under the binding and up the sides to damp out vibrations and make for a smooth ride.
Slimeback™ Highbacks utilize urethane similar to Ride's Slimewalls™ technology found in their board line. The Slimeback™ material absorbs shock and damps vibrations to help smooth the ride while providing fluid support.

Who is the Ride C-6 Snowboard Binding Best Suited For?

The Ride C-6 is ideal for intermediate to advanced all-mountain riders who want a versatile, medium-response connection. They're suitable for park, groomers, pow, and anything else the hill throws your way, making them a perfect choice for anyone who rides a bit of everything.

Ride C-6 Snowboard Binding Test Notes

"I really like how easy it is to adjust. It's all toolless, so it made setting it up easy. It was easy to get used to the straps, they mold to the boots well, and it was super comfortable. Honestly, if you want one binding to do everything—this is it. The highback is comfy, but also, the response I got out of it felt really good. Carving around it was comfortable and performed amazingly. It's a mid-flex, so in the park, I was able to tweak grabs and it felt comfortable on rails. The binding's not too stiff. It will handle all conditions, whatever you want to do, you'll be comfortable with this binding. I think this binding is just that perfect happy medium do-everything binding. They're really comfy." —Jon
