Salomon Echo Dual BOA Boot Review Notes

I’ve never ridden Salomon boots before, but I was super impressed. The liner has a lot of padding and was super comfy right out of the box—which never happens with a boot. The outer shell looks really durable and beefed up without being too heavy, and the inner liner is thick with a lot of cushion.
When I first put this boot on, it was comfortable immediately. The break-in period was pretty much non-existent, and even riding in warmer conditions it stayed stiff and responsive. After a handful of days in the boot, the stability, responsiveness, and comfort were still there. In terms of durability, I think it’s going to last a long time. The overall fit feels pretty standard—not too wide or too narrow—and there were no pressure points. It just felt comfy.
A few of my favourite characteristics: I love the double BOA—it’s quick and secure. The gaiter on the front zips up and will keep you dry all day. And inside the boot there’s a lot of thick padding around the ankle, which adds even more support.—Aari
