Anderson arrives on the back of a breakthrough 2025 season that saw his ender part in Sinister FilmsPICKPOCKET put him firmly on the map. His spot selection, technical trickery and style drew attention across snowboard media. This winter, he features in Sinister’s follow-up movie, Head Under Water, and is currently a year into a two-season video project with The Bomb Hole.

Anderson stands out in the current scene for both his creative riding and razor-sharp mind. A mechanical engineering graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, he has applied his degree to helmet R&D at Trek Bicycle Corporation and, most recently, in medical device manufacturing. That same analytical approach is visible in his unique trick selection and spot hunting, drawing street snowboarding back toward an era championed by Joe Sexton, Jed Anderson and Louif Paradis.

“The biggest thing that piqued my interest at Nidecker was knowing it's independently owned by people who love snowboarding,” Anderson says. “From that first conversation I was really impressed. There wasn’t any feeling that I had to fit a mold.”
