WSSF The Grind | Recap + Gallery

It's been years since we've seen a snowboard contest in Whistler Village. When the WSSF linked with The Grind Series, it didn't disappoint. Aiming to be the premier street-style snowboarding series in Canada, The Grind and Arena Snowparks transformed the base of Whistler Blackcomb into a proper plaza that riders were psyched on. Riders pushed the course limits, tackling the urban-inspired setup with style and creativity.

With sunshine, a hyped crowd, and $50,000 in prize money, the atmosphere was unforgettable.

Finialist went head-to-head and in the end the home team heald court with locals Truth Smith and Jackie Carlson taking home the big cheques.
The Grind at WSSF showed that Whistler is Canada's hub for snowboard culture, bringing together fans, boarders, and the community for an unforgettable celebration snowboarding.
