Burton Mystery Series | Sunridge, Edmonton

Burton's global Mystery Series continues to arrive in unlikely places. For the first stop of the 24/25 season, Mystery's banked slalom party found its way to Sunridge Ski Hill just outside of Edmonton on the North Saskatchewan River. Flanked by trains and refineries to the east contrasted with stunning views of the city to the west, there was no better scene to celebrate Alberta snowboarding. With 200+ participants and legendary pros Mark McMorris and Mikey Ciccarelli on the scene—it couldn't have been a better day to celebrate snowboarding. Mark and Mikey sessioned the park, gave riders tips on progression, scratched autographs and posed for photos. Mark showed 'em how it's done on the berms by posting the fastest time of the day. With a focus on progression, a pop-up edition of "Let's Get It" went down in the park with Riders On Board and The Source. Emcee Alex called out tricks and prizes were delivered.
Burton Mystery Series set its sights on encouraging participation while celebrating community and hit the target like a sniper.

Special thanks to Burton, Red Bull, The Source, McMorris Foundation, and the Indigenous Sports Council of Alberta for helping make the day one to remember.
