HALATION | The North Face

'HALATION', a new flick from The North Face deconstructs a classic snowboarding video and weaves in a story of inspiration, and friendship. Featuring Canadian staple Ben Poechman and New Zealand up-and-comer Mitchell Davern, the film is a nice cue to reflect on why we do what we do. 

Picking up a whole stack of awards at iF3 (Best Short Film, Best Editing, and Breakout Snowboarding of the Year – Mitchell Davern), filmer and editor Finlay Woods deserves his praise for the labour of putting this piece together.

Don't get it twisted, Ben and Mitchell stack some standout clips for the video, and to sweeten the deal, keep you eyes out for a couple tasteful cameos from Mateo Massitti, Jack MacDougall, and 16.2 coverboy Brin Alexander. Nicely done to all involved - watch the video below.
