SMITH OPTICS PRESENTS | BERNIE
Last winter Bernie and I made plans to meet up for at least one trip together. While he was busy with his usual antics in Antarctica and the Himalayas, I was hoping to rendezvous in Alaska but he doesn't like the bears up there...
So we settled on Bralorne, BC. An old sleepy gold mining town north of Pemberton. Unfortunately, the trip was cut short. On the first day I misjudged my trajectory on a jump and landed on a pile of rocks. At the time I was sure Bernie got torn to shreds but luckily he came unscathed and I went home with a broken ankle.
