The Cut Rail Jam Video Recap + Gallery

The snow-caked sun-soaked peaks surrounding Whistler served as an epic backdrop for The Cut Rail Jam, presented by Rockstar Energy and Skullcandy on April 13th during the World Ski & Snowboard Festival (WSSF). Bringing together 40 top snowboarders and skiers from across the region to the top of Emerald 6 Express chair on Whistler. The Cut promised $20,000 in cash and delivered quality entertainment.
Riders dropped in showcasing their best stuff, but only had two laps to beat 'the cut' as judges Jon Martin and Maria Thomsen axed riders over two rounds, whittling it down to a tight final.
When the dust settled, only a few claimed cash, but it was a win for everyone to see snowboard contests back in the mix and leading the charge at the WSSF. We hope to see more of this next year.
